Call for Participation: PhD Summer School

On 25 and 26 July, the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany, will host a PhD Summer School for doctoral students working in interdisciplinary contexts at the interfaces of social and technical sciences. The Summer School offers PhD students a space for the exchange and the discussion of experiences, problems and possibilities of dealing with the efforts, related troubles – and the (academic) surplus value – of such interdisciplinary research.

A total of 12 places are available. Accommodation costs in Dortmund will be fully funded for participants, individual travel expenses can be reimbursed (up to a maximum of 250 € pp.). Please apply with an outline of your doctoral project (max. 500 words), a tabular CV and a short statement on why you would like to participate in the Summer School (max. 300 words). Please send your application by email to Marion Nölle, Office of Sociology of Science and Technology (wt.fk17tu-dortmunddeby 26.04.2024.

The language of the Summer School will be English. Please submit all documents in English.
