Sociology of science and technology

Research and teaching at the Chair of Sociology of Science and Technology deals with the conditions and consequences of science and technology in modern societies. The thematic focus lies on the design and use of technology in everyday and work contexts, the analysis of socio-technical innovation dynamics, inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration relations, and the further development of qualitative methods.
