Student assistant wanted

As of 1 April 2026 we are looking for a student assistant at the Chair of Sociology of Science and Technology in the third-party funded project "Digital Body Knowledge. Fault Lines of Problematic Popularity in Health Care" (project duration: 01/2025-12/2028) a student assistant (m/f/d) with a working time of approx. 8 hours/week.
The project operates at the interface of science, technology and medical sociology and offers exciting insights into the field of digitisation. Long-term employment is desirable, as the project runs until December 2028. We would be particularly pleased if you also collect your own data in the project and process them further in your thesis if possible. Your working hours are generally flexible and it is usually also possible to complete the tasks remotely.
Your tasks:
- Systematic literature research
- Transcription of raw interview data
- Support in the analysis of data material (grounded theory & situation analysis)
- (Co-)organization of events
Your profile:
- First experiences with qualitative social research
- Strong communication skills & solution orientation
- High ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in English
