Data Sprint "Digital Health Data"

On 24 October 2025, Ann Kristin Augst and Cornelius Schubert met with Lisa Gerzen, Enrico Maria Piras, and Kate Weiner for an intensive Data Sprint as part of the project "Digital Body Knowledge. Conflict Lines of Problematic Popularity in Healthcare", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project is part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1472 "Transformations of the Popular" at the University of Siegen.
Together, the team analysed online forums where people with obesity, sleep apnoea, and ME/CFS discuss self-tracking devices and their (digital) health data.
The day offered exciting insights, fresh perspectives, and valuable input for future research; an inspiring exchange that reinforced our direction and research interests.
